Who am I?

Good question. Wel....I'm a lot of things.

I'm 36, single and starting my life completely over.

In Oct 2008, I packed what would fit in my car and left a bad situation behind. Currently, I'm staying with a family member and trying to rebuild my life.

I'm a highly crafty/creative person, always have been. I paint, quilt, crochet, make paper, crochet and write.

I make polymer clay beads and anything else I can think of. I love working with polymer clay, I love the freedom of it. When using it, your imagination is the only limit you have.

My favorite medium is crocheting. I've been crocheting since I was 8, when my mom taught me. I even still have and use the first size H crochet hook I started with. I love making afghans, scarves, shawls, ponchos and other items. I also do a bit of free form crochet.

Most of all, I love that through my creative endeavors I have been able to meet so many wonderful people. I've sold on Etsy, Ecrater, Ebay, and Blujay at various times over the last 6+ years.

Crafting is what I do. I'm disabled and unable to keep a regular job, I miss too much work because of doctor appointments, hospitalizations and medication side effects. I don't let it stop me. I work hard and enjoy every minute of what I do.

This year should be a roller coaster ride. When I left, I had nothing. No money, no place to go, no plan. I had to get out in order to save my life.

So here I am. Crafting all the goodies I so love to craft. While also "crafting" a new life for myself.

I know most people would say I should have a personal blog and a separate business blog. But for me, the 2 are one and the same. My personal life affects my creative one, my creative one affects my personal one. There's no dividing line.

I believe in being honest and not hiding who I am.

Thank you for reading. Hope you'll check in every once in a while.

Hugs.
